Drivers Licence
All drivers must have held a full drivers licence for at least 12 months and must be over the age of 21. Overseas licences are acceptable as long as they are in English. If they are not in English an International driving licence is required.
Rental Duration
The hire works on a 24 hour clock, the time you collect the vehicle is the time it is due back to us. If you do not return the vehicle within the expected time then we will charge for an extra days hire. All hires are to be paid for before you can take the vehicle away. All hire prices are inclusive of GST.
Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of $50 or 10% of the hire fee (whichever is higher) is required to secure the vehicle. If this is not provided then the hire is not secured and the car could be given to another hirer.
Insurance
Our insurance excess is $2000. This will be held in a bond before you can take the vehicle away, please see below. We can reduce our excess to $500 which puts an extra $12 per day on your hire.
Bond
A bond is required for all hires. We will hold this bond on collection of the vehicle; it will be held on your credit card and then released once the car is returned to us provided it is in the same condition as it left. A credit card is required to hire the vehicle.
Early Returns
If you return your vehicle early you will not be entitled to a refund of the unused hire period.
Petrol
The car must be returned with a full tank of petrol otherwise you will be charged $3.50 per litre to fill the vehicle.
Cancellations
Any cancellations will not have their deposit refunded as this is non-refundable.
